It's Been A While...

August, 2004... A year and change since returning home... Interesting times to say the least. Have had assorted tales and adventures in that time. Many changes in my life and also changes in the lives of my close friends. It's very difficult to put in context, especially in retrospect. So, I'm starting fresh. With the changes comes the opportunity to try new things and adapt to the who that I've become in that time. It's interesting and scary to see how far I've come along in recent months. I've been able to count the ever increasing amount of salt in the dark "pepper" that is my hair. (o: Oh well, time to realize I can only enjoy the time I've been given.

Looks like I'm headed to Mexico for the first couple of weeks of September. Hoping to get this project out of the way, and on to bigger and better. Plenty of news that I've heard in regards to both Canada and Germany... Canada looks to be a VERY big project as it's one of our current "cash cows" and not the easiest thing to begin. Germany looks better, even with the language barrier, difference in time and cultural mis-translations. And anyways, I've a soft spot in my heart for living and traveling in Europe. Maybe with the eventual resolution of Mexico, I'll be tasked with Germany? Hopefully in the spring, as I've gotten rid of most of my winter wardobe. :op
